7 Month Old Waking up Crying

My daughter is 7 months old. She began sleeping through the night at 12 weeks - I thought I was lucky. Right after she turned 6 months, she began waking at odd hours of the night, crying. I've tried letting her "cry herself to sleep" but that never works. Crying turns into screaming, screaming turns into gagging. When I try rocking her back to sleep, she falls asleep immediately. My Son Hates His Teeth Getting Brushed!!

My son is 18 months old and absolutely hates his teeth getting brushed. I have tried different tooth brushes, he loves Thomas the Train and has a Thomas the Train toothbrush and toothpaste. My husband has to pull faces and act goofy to make my son laugh while I can brush his teeth but if he is not there it is a complete struggle. It is getting worse that as soon as I am holding the toothbrush he shuts his mouth. I have tried giving him the toothbrush and he just chews on it. He may 'try' and brush his teeth but I definitely need to help....
