12 Year Old Boys...

My girlfriend has a 12 year old boy that is truly driving her nuts. I give as good of advice as I can, but really I raised girls, Im sure its different. Her son, has started "dating" a 13 year old girl (who mom doesnt like hehe), is pretty disrespectful to his mom, he is spoiled with cash & fancy electronics by his Dad that lives in a different city. He wants to "go out" on dates with the girlfriend, I think in groups it should be ok...? He has no experience using transit alone- I think now is a good time to learn... theres a bunch of stuff...

Does He Have Autism?????

my two year old son won't talk. we have done everything to get him to but he won't. he is seeing a speech therapist once a week and now she wants to send him to a doctor who specializes in this kind of thing. i'm afraid that the doctor will tell me that it is autism and i wouldn't know what to do. i'm so scared because he is my firstborn and i never dealt with this kind of thing before. i hope he doesn't have it and he can say some words but not enough. please pray that he will start talking soon before he starts school in august.

Talking to My Teen?

Okay so i have a 6 kids, 4 boys and 2 girls. My 14 year old girl has reccently been noticing males a little more lately, and ive been trying to give "the talk" but it has a been reallyhard, i never remmbered it being ths hard wih my 16 year old daughter. I try to be open with my kids, but my 14 year old just freaks out about all this type of stuff! How Can I Get My 14 Year Old to Enjoy School?

I have a 14 year old son who has dislike school since second grade. It has been a constant struggle to get him up in the morning and to motivate him to take pride in his school work. He is very bright, but puts the minimum amount of effort into his work. I have stressed the importance of education, I have tried bribes, rewards and everything else I can think of to motivate him..nothing works. I would welcome your suggestions.
