Only time eventually helped me feel a little better, than birth...the minute the baby was out, my stomach felt totally normal again....I had nausea 16 weeks with the first, 20 with the second. I didn't throw up, just felt awful and dry heaved a lot all day long. I could dry heave walking down the street without anyone knowing!
Here are things that kind of helped (and I tried everything but the Zofram, my doctor was hesitant to give it to me since I was not throwing up, although some days I would have paid a million dollars for it!)
1)Getting enough rest....lots of sleep!
2)Keeping my stomach full, lots of snacks all day long...this did lead to more weight gain, but I lost it easily and my doctor said do what is takes
3)Eating enough protein.
4)Apples - funny they tasted good to my stomach...
5)Mint gum - tricked my body to think I was eating.
Did I mention sleep?
I also took Unisom at night per my doctors orders. Some days I would count the minutes until I could take it and go to bed....
The best advice is that you do actually (kind of) forget about it after the baby comes, and seem to remember the good stuff, or else why would we ever have another!!!!
Hang in there!
Oh I forgot one...crying. Seriously, sometimes I would feel so awful I would go in the bathroom and have a good cry...and then my nausea would subside for a bit....funny....but it worked. No one tells you pregnancy can be really hard, and it is OK to not like being pregnant...and still be a great mom!
