Try Preston TV at preston & Royal. They are awesome and have fixed our Samsung DLP Twice and I thought rather reasonably.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a TV repair person? I bought my husband a $3000 Samsung 50" TV for Christmas 2004. The warranty expired THIS year. We ordered a replacement bulb (for $200), but it didn't fix the problem (it did the first time this happened a 4 years ago). My husband is pretty good with electronics, but is at a loss with this one. Please send your referrals my way!!!

We used Goodman TV. http://www.goodmantv.com/index.asp Our tv was out of warranty too, but since it was a sensor, they had Mitsubishi cover it. I know you have a Samsung, but worth a shot. They've been around for a long time and are very dependable!
GEM Electronics. They are an authorized Samsung repair tech shop. I used them to get my boss' tv fixed and he loved them!
Have you tried pulling it away from the wall and vacuuming behind it and along the back? We were having trouble with ours shutting off and this cleared up the problem.
