Hi Moms-

I am wondering if any of you can recommend a moving company. We are finally moving from Hoffman Estates to Montgomery, IL (near Naperville) and would like to find a reputable yet inexpensive company to help us.

Additionally, can anyone recommend a place to get inexpensive boxes for moving?

Thanks, in advance.
N.

Hi,
My family has been using a company called A. Blankenship Flowers and Movers for over 25 years. They are fast, less expensive than most and reliable. Their # is ###-###-####.

Good Luck.

We had a fantastic experience with Breda Moving based in Roselle: http://www.bredamoving.com/
They will loan you boxes, as many as you need, for a deposit with your move, and you just return them and get your deposit back! They were fast, courteous, came out to the house for a detailed estimate, and came in under the estimate b/c they were so fast, even in the rain. Fantastic! I just wish we'd used them for our first move after having a horrible experience with an Allied company (von sydow's). I have heard about Breda from a few people, and have only heard fantastic things!
Best wishes on your move!

Not sure about movers, but for boxes you can try freecycle.
www.freecycle.com.
Its a great site and people get rid of so much stuff.
I have seen many people getting rid of moving boxes.

Good Luck!

Your local grocery store usually has special delivery days they would love to get rid of the boxes. Just call around or ask next time you are shopping. Aldi's often has a lot of boxes. People use them to shop or they squish them up.
Don't know about movers though, maybe your village hall has a list.
