From what I hear of him on the phone he is awesome with his customers. He always answers any questions before you book your move. His hours are 6am to 10pm so give him a call. S & S Transfer and Storage out of McKinney is an awesome company. They are small and family owned, very consciencious and careful with your stuff. For years they have worked with antiques companies in the art district of Dallas and are now doing local house stuff. Scott is the owner and usually the one that comes out to make the bids. We used Mayflower. We moved about 3 miles back in 2000. They were professional, helpful and the cost was reasonable.
However, since we were moving 3 miles, we moved most everthing we could and left all furniture and heavy stuff for them. The cost was a little less than $900.
Hi C., We used Apple Moving to get my daughter's family from Little Elm to Allen. They were, on time, very careful and did the job for the estimated price. Not one piece of furniture was damaged either. I have recommended them several times and had good reports back. We would use them again.

I was very pleased with All U Need Movers. They're prices are affordable, their movers were friendly and professional and they are a very hard working team we would use again in a heart beat.

We just moved from Plano to Allen and we had a wonderful experience with Apple Moving. They did an estimate over the phone and their movers were courteous, careful, and quick. I had originally booked our move with Longhorn Moving and they did not show up on moving day. (This Longhorn Moving Group is now out of business so they aren't related to the Longhorn mentioned in a previous post.) We were really in a bind so I called Apple and they came the same day. The movers worked from 2 to 8 pm and we were able to get moved before our 4th baby arrived 4 days later. Apple Moving really was a Godsend. Best of luck with your move!

They charge a flat fee by the hour for a three-man crew - at first I was skeptical b/c I thought they would dilly-dally to have more hours to bill for, but the opposite was true! They were on time, fast, friendly, and so careful. We just moved to Allen too, and absolutely nothing was broken, scratched, or damaged. Great moving service!
