Donating Light Fixtures

Are there any charitable organizations that will take used light fixtures (brass and glass chandeliers)? I have tried Goodwill, Bridging, Craig's List and Freemarket without any success. I would like to get them out of my garage without having to put them in a landfill.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I was looking into some of the options suggested here when, ironically, the Lupus Foundation called to tell me there will be truck in my neighborhood this week. It sounds like they will take them. Yea!! If not, I will keep all of these suggestions. I had already been told "no" by Goodwill and Bridging and had already advertised them for more than a month on Craig's List and a Twin Cities freemarket website. Thanks!

Hud has a store in MPLS that has used remodeling items. So when a home is going to be torn down they take what is reusable and then sell it in this store to help fund HUD.
I would try and call them. I believe the store is in north mpls I think on broadway.

Try the Re-Use Center or Habitat for Humanity.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but usually the Vietnam Vets will come out and pick up those kinds of things. You can schedule a pickup at vva.org
Hope this helps!
