we just moved into a very small apartment. i am looking for a small sectional couch or a small couch and oversized chair. but with all of our moving expenses we are on a budget. i can spend no more than $75. Does anyone know of any furniture like this or does anyone have any furniture they are selling for cheap?

What can I do next?

I agree- look on Craigslist. My parents have also gotten rid of some beautiful couches that they just leave in the front yard for someone to pick up.

Don't forget to check out Craigslist in your area. My husband and I frequently list furniture "free-on-curb."

check and see if there is a restore shop near you. it is a habitat for humanity thrift store. they carry everything from lighting fixtures to paintings. I got my couch there and bedside tables and a bunch of light fixtures. the stuff is very very reasonably priced.

Check out local thrift stores and yard sales. You can also join freecycle, it's a yahoo group. No money changes hands.

Check out craiglist for your area.....you might be able to find something, or if there is a consignment store near by that might be an option as well. Also garage/yard sales. Good Luck - I hope you find something that will be perfect for your family!

Have you looked at some thrift stores? That and craigslist and freecycle. You can also list "items wanted" on craigslist.

Estate Sales, Garage Sales, Craigslist and put the word out. You would be surprised at what you can find at a good price.
