Hi beautiful mommies and soon to be mommies! We still have some "big" baby gear to purchase after our showers, namely car seat and stroller. We both have relatively "smallish" cars so nothing clunky or heavy. Our neighbor keeps lobbying us to get Peg Perego but boy are they expensive! I could probably hunt down a deal on the 'net if there is concensus that they are the best but I am looking for more input. Graco Snug Ride

I took your advice and bought a Graco Snug Ride infant car seat. We LOVE it and appreciate all the recommendations. Our previous car seat fit on the top of shopping carts (where you'd put your purse), but this does not. Those of you who own one, what is the easiest way to go grocery shopping w/ your baby? I ended up putting the whole car seat in the basket and then there isn't room for groceries. I thought of buying the frame/stoller, but then I'd be pushing two carts. Is it best just to shop w/o baby?

Need a Stroller for a 5 Year Old - Any Suggestions

My 5 year old son has low muscle tone. He has difficulty walking and tires easily. He is getting too old and too heavy to carry and he can't walk more than a few feet without tiring. The stroller we have - which is the stroller we have had sine he was an infant is getting too small. I have looked online and googled "stroller for a 5 year old". Most of results I find are other people asking the same question and a lot of the responses are more comments on how a 5 year old shouldn't be in a stroller. Not helping!!!!! Anyone have...
