There's a place called Kid to Kid off of 377 (denton Hwy) in
> Watauga/Keller area...is this too far? They're in the Albertson's
> shopping center and seem to be pretty good about moving stuff...
I have a Graco infant car seat, 2 bases and a pack'n'play we no longer need. Looking for any advice on good consignment shops - tried 1 and they said they were too full to take them. Thought that was odd because I figured those things would move so fast. I am in S Arlington, but willing to travel some to clear out my house! Thanks in advance!

Hi, have you tried Once Upon a Kid? They are located on the NW corner of Sublett and Green Oaks. There is also an online website, frimp.net, that you can list your stuff on for free, and they specialize in local exchanges so no one has to worry about shipping. Hope this helps!
I would save it for a few weeks and check out the Just Between Friends sales - look up their website. You have to tag it yourself, but you get to keep 70% of the sale, which is much, much more than at a consignment shop. They explain in detail, how to tag your items and the dropoff time. Clothes sell like crazy there too. If you price it well, it will sell. They let first-time moms in early for a presale, so the good baby stuff is gone quick. I didn't take many clothes in the spring and still made $150 - way more than you'ld ever get at a garage sale or consignment store.
Hi B.! My name is K. and am in Euless. We have a great consignment shop in Grapevine. (121 and Glade Road). It's called Once Upon A Child and they usually take all of the items you listed and they will pay cash for them. I take clothes and toys there pretty often. Hope this helps out.

For what it's worth, I was at Kid to Kid near the Parks mall the other day and they were turning a lot of people away that had good stuff. Apparently they really stocked up for tax free weekend next weekend and suggested people bring stuff in after next weekend as they hope to sell through a lot of merchandise. Also, don't underestimate Ebay...Good luck!
Try listing them on Craigslist.com. I have successfully sold many different items there. It is great for moms because it is free to post and it is local, so you can put in your ad that you prefer local pick up only and then the buyer comes to you to pick it up. (You may want to make sure your husband or someone else is at home when you do this.) Also make sure you state that you will only accept cash to avoid scams! Good luck!

Just a little F.Y.I. the Greensheet has free ad Fridays. You can list your item for free up to 10 words plus your phone #. You will get alot more cash than if you take it to a consignment shop. I did this for my infant car seat, stroller and crib. It is very convenient.
