How Much TV Is Too Much TV?
My 21 month has become obsessed with Elmo... not television, because if I try to turn something else on, he will consistently ask for Elmo. Is this a phase? We go to the park and take walks every day. We read at night before bed, but in between those times, he runs to the TV and says, "Elmo?????" I only have 3 or 4 Elmo videos. I would say sometimes it's more than 30 mintues a day. I just never thought a child his age would be so consumed by a video. It's nice that he's content, but I don't want this to be his only entertainment.
