When Nystatin Doesn't Work??

My son had an ear infection and was prescribe an oral antibiotic. As a result, he received a yeast rash. Over a week ago, I called my doctor and she called in a script for Nystatin. She said to put the Nystatin on first then put desitin/aquaphor/diaper cream on top to seal in the cream. I have been changing his diaper every time he pees and putting the cream on every time. 8 Wk Old Constipated Looking for Suggestions to Help Him

Hi ladies, I think my little one (8 wk. old boy) is constipated, he hasnt pooped in 2-3 days which is totally NOT his norm, his has been more irritable, stinky, stinky tooting, and hard belly that looks distended. Earlier this week I took 1 Diflucan, and have been using Nystatin adn a probiotic b/c of thrush that he and i have been passing back and forth. I have given him cammomile tea and got some gripy water and have been giving it to him. I feel soo bad, he seams to be very uncomfortable, any suggestions would be much appreciated

We seem to be in a downward spiral of maladies! Three weeks ago, my 6 mo.-old was diagnosed with Thrush. (Which in itself is weird since he's on the older side for Thrush, and I'm no longer nursing.) We were given Nystatin, and after now our third round it has proven to be ineffective. My breastfeeding two month old son has been having 'stringy' blood in his poop since yesterday morning.
