Seven Month Old Won't Let Me Leave Her Sight.

This is my fourth baby, and this is a new behavior that I didn't really have with the others. My seven month old cries whenever I leave the room...even just to go to the restroom. My husband (whom she normally LOVES) was holding her in the Living Room last night, and I went to go into the kitchen and she was devastated!!! This is definately a new behavior (about 1 week). Any advice on getting her to go back to being ok with other people? My other girls were social butterfly's and our son was so sick his first year he didn't care who...

Advice of Gift for Single Mom with No Car (Rides Bus)

A friend of mine has an almost 6 week old baby (Jasmine 8 pounds...was 5 weeks early). I've known her my whole life. She is a single mom with no car...rides the bus everywhere. Right now, she has almost nothing...bassinet blankets, and I think enough clothes that currently fit. The Jasmine's dad has a car/carseat and picks her up somethign like every other weekend. Hot Slings & Other Baby Carriers

HI Gals! I was wondering, does anyone out there use a Hot Sling baby carrier? If so, how do you like it? Or did you try it and not like it? How about other baby carriers? I've used the Baby Bjorn, the Snugli, and the JJ Cole infant carrier and nothing has really made me super happy yet. My 5 mos old has just about out grown her infant carrier (which I can barely carry at this point!) and I need something to carry her in when I'm out and about with both my 2 year old & 5 mos old girls. Thanks!
