Here are 2 more that I know of:
noggin.com and pbs.org or .com I can't remember. My boys loved them.
I am going to be homeschooling my children (they are 2 years old and 11 months old) so I have been looking into a lot of sites.
Here are some I have found:
www.highlightskids.com (I like that they have the hidden pictures like the magazine but are interactive on screen) but they have other things too.
www.sesamestreet.org
www.starfall.com for alphabet recognition and phonics
I also like www.letteroftheweek.com for me to plan some lessons to learn the letters and sounds. Plus they have curriculum for babies through elementary, so you might find something you can use. We make word cards out of the words I choose (usually 6 per letter) and I print out pictures to put on the back of each card. I print out a second set of pictures to put on our poster. When we are done with the letter we take the picture and put them into a book for that letter. I like the book, song and poem suggestions to go with each letter, plus there is so much more. I usually use my own craft idea.
I have also seen the following recommended elsewhere
www.kiddyhouse.com
www.kinderart.com (more for mom)
www.pbskids.org (games, printables, and more based on PBS shows)
what a great question, I can't wait to see if anyone has some new ones i don't know about.
www.Starfall.com does abc's and pre/reading activites
my kids like www.scholastic.com with clifford, and bernstain bears etc.
we also, borrow CDROMs from the library.
The Jumpstart ones are great for working on preschool skills.
Blues Clues, Arthur, Caillu (sp) also have some cute ones, some are easier to navigate than others but usually if i play it once ith the kids they can get the hang of it and do it themselves after that.
Pbs.org I believe has a great site. Sounds like you got some great answers!
webkins. u have to buy one to get a code, then they have games on there as well as takin care of your pet.
Hey Vickie,
Try Starfall.com. It's a great educational website
V.,
Try these sites as well:

The below site is more of a chore checklist on line and also allows the kids to buy things for their character and play safe games. My 6 year loves it.

Good Luck,

I have the perfect site and it's FREE! I used it for my triplets the last two years. The great thing is that you can tweak it and change it to fit your needs. They lay out lesson plans and everything and you can do it at your own pace, fast or slow, intense or basic, whatever your needs are! Check out Letter Of The Week (LOTW) at www.letteroftheweek.com You'll love it! It's broken down by age groups and/or learning levels. They also have a Yahoo group for each learning level so you can chat with other parents for ideas and free web sites to pull up and print off info as necessary. It's great! Let me know if you'd like to see some pics of anything that we've done. I have a few. We didn't make big poster boards as they suggest. I just started out by taping things on the wall, and later bought a big bulletin board and pin the weekly things up there. Again, you can change and tweak things completely to fit your needs.

Hi V.,
My son and daughter were told about starfall.com by a kindergarten teacher- the games are fun and strictly educational. They are all pre- reading games. They are simple and easy to learn to play. Also, Webkinz has a preschool line now (but you have to buy the stuffed animal to get online and play). Anyhow, I have found the Webkinz website to be engaging and educational for my kiddos even though I cringe when buying the stuffed toy to get the code...:)
We got DVD's for our kids when they were preschool age. Freddy the Fish, Putt Putt, and others. There are some really fun ones (putt putt saves the zoo was fun for the kids, has a song to it, and it's one we all did together the first time through) The DVD's have a basic story to them, and an interactive game to play -- then there are side games -- like at the zoo, you can play ice hockey with the penquins, etc. ( or maybe I've got them confused -- the kids are in high school now) I don't recommend the web for pre-school. I would postpone the web for security purposes as long as you can, but there are some good child-friendly sites other elementary school moms could recommend.
Here is one that we like http://www.starfall.com/
i am a kindergarten teacher and my kids love starfall.com. it ranges from fun games to reading short stories and is great for all ages. it's educational without them knowing it. i hope they like it.
Highlights for Children is nice. highlightskids.com. my 5 yr old loves the hidden picture games.
I aree, the Noggin station is great. All the shows are patterned after preschool lessons, and there are no commercials. We still watch PBS in the morning for Sesame Street etc.
My daughter plays on disney, nickjr, and PBS kids. She enjoys all of them and can navigate them pretty well. we also bought her the easy link system that hooks into a secure website and all they have to do is change the character on the system to go to a new site.
Hi V.,
Yes! My top pick of all time is www.starfall.com. If you click on my blog link http://daisyandpear.blogspot.com and scroll down to the bottom right, you'll see a whole slew of websites that we use and love. I've used some of them in the past when I taught Kindergarten. I'm pretty picky and I like sites that are educational and super family friendly and clean.

Hey V.. Try www.funbrain.com. Some of the activities will be too advanced but there should be some activities, especially in the 'playground' section that your little ones can do. I allow my classroom students to play on this website during downtime but in the math or reading sections which are probably still too advanced at thit time.
Hi V.,
There are 2 sites I use with my 2 1/2 year old son.
www.starfall.com
www.uptoten.com.
Up to ten charges, but there is a section that is free on the left side. That is what I use. My son usually does not sit still, but when I use these sites, he can sit for up to an hour. He loves them and asks for them.
