So my daughter is at home with me durring the day and I've been trying out different educational websites to work with her on her letters, numbers, etc. Just wondering if any of you have any sites that you use that you really like.

My daughter liked pbskids.org and starfall.com
BookFlix is a good one, although you need an account set up to use it. My son's school has a login that the children are allowed to use. The site has books that children can read along with, "turn" the pages, etc. You can choose to read the books, or have the books read out loud to you. Some books are animated, some are not, and there are all sorts of categories. The site is run by Scholastic Books.
I think it is either starfall.com or starfall.org. My preschooler and gradeschooler love it and they actually use it in the school system, so it is safe. They also like pbskids.org
I will second the starfall.com
My three year old loves it.
My 3 year-old son loves pbskids.org.
I've always been a fan of Scholastic.com. You may also want to check out Tumblebooks.com and PBSkids.com, and Starfall.com.
For math, look at PrimaryGames.com, and CoolMath.com.
Jumpstart software has great programs for preschool kids, "Jumpstart Toddler" is great for learning numbers and letters. Check your local library and see if they have computer programs.
Enjoy your time home with your daughter!
Like so many have said - starfall.com This is a great site, the PBS, Nick Jr, Disney etc are okay, but they are of course tied to the TV shows and merchandizing.
For a minimal inventment you can also buy software as well. Most are programmed to become more challenging as the child becomes more proficient.
My daughter LOVES Nick Jr. (http://www.nickjr.com) and PBS Kids (http://www.pbskids.org)
It has a lot of games & activities as well as videos. She's 5 now & can navigate & play on both sites on her own. She learns a lot from them!
You can get DVD games at Best Buy too. They're about $10 and have color, letter, shape, and number recognition. Just thought I would offer that info. Variety is always good.
Ditto starfall.com. Another great website is poissonrouge.com. It's not traditionally educational, but moms will even find they love playing on it. They now ask for a contribution when you go on the site, but you can try it out without contributing, then do as you see fit. My daughter (now 6) loves it and has been using it for several years.
