Hey, girls. With this year's election, I was wondering how ya'll feel. It's pretty historical with an African American running for president and a woman VP running mate. I, myself, will be voting for John McCain and Sarah Palin. Just wondering...

What can I do next?

I was a strong Hillary supporter and was a bit upset that she was not selected as V.P. running mate by Obama. However, now I am fully supporting Obama. His values and core beliefs about humanity line up with mine. McCain was never an option for me and his choice of a woman running mate will never blind me to his beliefs and prior choices. McCain = more Bush, despite what he says right now, in the moment of decision. Go Obama!!! We need change in this country NOW!!!

This is the first time I dont have a strong opinion. Right now I feel like anything is better than Bush. I usually vote strongly democratic but I am a little concerned voting for Obama because of the whole minister issue. So, as of now it pains me to say Im undecided. That hurts...Im usually very opinionated.

I'm a pretty staunch republican; however, I was somewhat hestiant about McCain. Now he has my vote with a such a good representative of the new Republicans. think this will make for an interesting race. Either way it will be historic.

I am going to vote John McCain and Sarah Palin. This is a historic election on both sides, because although there has been a Woman run in the VP spot she was democrat not republican. So I believe that is what H. D was meaning when she said African American and a woman VP running mate. I am very excited that John McCain picked Sarah Palin.

Here's my two cents: I am usually democratic. However, I am very sceptical of Obama. I think alot of things are said but uaually different when in office. I really was hoping Clinton got the democratic nod. I would have voted for her in a heart beat. I think that I'm going to end up voting for McCain. I love that he chose a woman for his running mate too. Either way I love that we are witnessing such a historic moment.

If I vote, I will do so for Barack Obama. I cannot bring myself to vote for Sen. McCain after the last eight years of Republican "leadership".
I, too, would have loved to see Hillary Clinton win the nomination.
Although I think Sen. Obama could benefit from more experience, I'm tired of hearing that as the excuse for not supporting him as I think many just don't because of his race.
If one argues inexperience, then that should have been the excuse with George Bush. Most governor positions are fairly powerless.
As a Democrat, it is refreshing to be able to offer an opinion without being chastised. The DFW area seems to be overwhelmingly supportive of the Republican party.
We're all lucky to be able to voice our opinions and vote as we wish!
