Talk every day, talk about the big stuff and talk about the little stuff because you never know what it big or little until you talk about it.

I hope marriage is as good to you as mine has been to me.

Remember to have the attitude of gratitude.

My wife and I were married on the 28th of July. On the 28th of each month we've made it a game to see who can wish the other "Happy Anniversary" first. Next month we will have done it for 456 months (38 years). Six of my kids liked that game so much that they got married on the 28th. Two of their spouses didn't like the game , but of my 8 kids 6 of them "play the game".

Hope you have a wonderful time. Good luck to you and yours.

The best wedding advice I received: Remember that your children grow up and leave you (as they should) but your spouse is for life. So treat them and your marriage like they matter!

Congratulations on your big day! I hope that you enjoyed everything - and remember no matter how things turned out, that's how they were supposed to be!

My advice is to remember to keep the friendship in your marriage. Reflect and relate often to the things that drew you together in the first place. Remember to like him just as much as you love him.

The only advice I really remember that was given to me was:
Fight naked.
I've never followed it, but loved it none the less. I'd probably win more arguments if I did ;)
Congratulations, Rachel. You've been looking forward to this for a long time; I'm glad you finally got your day :)
