Hi ~ my 10 yr old is still having trouble at night with bedwetting. We've tried waking him up and cutting back his liquids and without any avail.. He is now actually asking to see a doctor. I'd like advice on who to take him to. Someone who can be a comfort in this humiliating time for him. Of course as his mother I would be in the room and I want to find out what to expect as well.. My son of course doesn't want to be "examined" too closely, so I'm just not sure what to expect.. Advice please?!
Thanks!

Good morning. My son is 10 also and has had urology issues. He saw pediatric urologist Dr. Pinto, in Ft. Worth, not in the midcities area like you requested. He was so great!! He made my son feel 100% comfortable. He helped us tremendously.

We use Urology Associates of North Texas. Their pediatric group is in Ft. Worth right next to Harris Methodist. Great group of doctors. You might call them about an appointment.

I don't have any advice on a doctor, but have you tried the biofeedback bed alarm? I've heard these are supposed to work very well, and sometimes you can get the info online or just from your regular pediatrician.

I have heard of success with a chiropractor for this.
