Dr Beauchamp in Grapevine, he is AWESOME!!
http://www.popacas.com/index.htm - is the link to the big pediatric opthamology practice in the area, they have offices in Grapevine (Dr B) Dallas, East and West Plano.
Our pediatrician has recommended that my 9-month old son be referred to a pediatric opthamologist for treatment of a clogged/immature tear duct that he's had since birth. She gave us a list of pediatric opthamologists to contact, but I just wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations or concerns about any pediatric opthamologists in the DFW area before we start calling the offices. Thanks so much for your help!

My son goes to Dr. Joel Leffler. He is with Children's Eye Care of North Texas - located in Plano. The number is ###-###-####. Dr. Leffler is very quiet, but a good doctor. His staff is super nice.

I have had many of my own clients rave about Dr. Charles Schidlofsky (not sure about the spelling). He is in Plano, at Parker and the Tollway.

Dr. Beuchamp in Grapevine. WONDERFUL!!!!! http://local.yahoo.com/info-18858001-beauchamp-george-r-m...
we had trouble with Dr Murray (I think) he has an office in Irving and Southlake. He was great, but the second time we went in we saw an intern dr and she was horrible, prescibed glasses we didnt need and we were there for like three hours.
We go to Dr Gross in Dallas. He is more than worth the drive.
Have to agree with everyone else- Dr. Beuchamp. He was awesome with my son and took the time to answer all of my questions. He made my son and I both feel comfortable. He was also extremely thorough.
Our daughter goes to Dr Alan Norman. He's got offices in Arlington and somewhere in the mid-cities. We like him a lot! We started going there for a weird eyelid problem when she was 4 months old. She's outgrown the eyelid thing, but we have continued there for the astigmatism they found when they did the exam for the eyelid thing. (yes, they'll probably do a full eye exam, which involves dilating his eyes -- bring your baby sunglasses!)
We really like Dr Packwood! He has several offices, including Hurst and downtown Ft Worth. http://www.pedieyes.com/
I love Dr. Wang...she is fabulous and my kids love her too! ###-###-####
The absolute BEST PO in the area is Dr. Serena Wang! My youngest daughter was adopted internationally at 10 months and had severe vision problems. I've seen several POs in the area and wasn't satisfied...until someone recommended Dr. Wang. She is fabulous! She has two offices one at Legacy & Preston ###-###-####) and one on Greenville Ave ###-###-####).
My son saw Dr. Beauchamp in Grapevine. He has a great bedside manner with both you and your child. I saw him on a recommendation of another mom. Good Luck! B.
We LOVE Dr. Alan Davis at Plano Presby. The kids love to go because he always gives them a nice hardcover book as they leave. He's done 2 surgeries on my oldest, and we just think he's wonderful. J.
