Hi K., I've visited this center on 3 different occasions (over a period of 4 years) and have never been impressed with them. The first time, I didn't get a good feeling from the director and I didn't like the foods they were serving to toddlers at the time, things I thought were unsafe. The second time, the facility just didn't seem clean and organized and the staff I spoke too weren't terribly friendly/intelligent. The third time, about 2 or 3 months ago, I was shocked to see little kids (2 or 3 years old) hanging out the front window of one of the classrooms and no teacher in sight. I was walking up to the front door and the second window over to the left of the door had the screen pushed out and kids were hanging out the window. I watched for several minutes and never saw or heard a teacher say anything. I rang the bell to get into the center and told the person who answered what was going on. She seemed perturbed that I even mentioned it and then went off, I presume, to fix the problem. As I was walking in behind her and she saw that I was following her, she turned around and curtly said "Can I help you?" like "Why are you coming in?" I explained that I was there to find out about the center for my 18 month old son and she had one of her other office workers get with me and walked off. Turns out she was the director. Not a good feeling at all that time. And it's really a shame because they are soooo convenient to where I live. I tell you, I had a much better feeling about Primrose right around the corner on Mid-Cities blvd and it was only $4 more a week. I've not yet decided what to do with my son when he turns 18 months in May, but I do not plan to take him to that Children's Courtyard...not unless I get a much better feeling the next time I visit, which may be never! Good luck! N.
