I have actually been in the travel business for over 10 years. I was certified at American Airlines Travel Center off of 360 in Arlington. I know they still do the certification there. It has always interested me very much to think of starting an at home travel agency. Do you have ideas on after you get certified how to get started? I would love to be a part of something like that. I am the monther of a 4 month old girl and I hate to go back to work and miss seeing her every day! I know you understand. I have also always loved my industry.
Please email me back at ____@____.com, thanks!!

Hi E.,

What I noticed about your posting were the words "in home". Since I am a mother of a 3 month and have been struggling with the idea of putting her in daycare...I understand wanting to stay home. I don't know of a Travel Agent School, however I can tell you about an opportunity that was presented to me. I am a "new" recruiter for a Health and Wellness company and have found a way to work 10 to 15 hours a week primarily on the internet and not have to go back to work. I say new because I come from a banking back ground and until recently didn't know anything about the Health and Wellness Industry except for the fact that people want safe, natural products that work. Just like you and I. I know this sounds too good to be true. I thought the same thing when this opportunity was presented to me, UNTIL I SAW FOR MYSELF WHAT CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED. I would like to set up a time to speak over the phone, it just takes about 20 minutes. My friend who approached me with this opportunity started her business 1 1/2 years ago and is doing very well. I can conference her in and let her explain how this opportunity has changed her life and how it will be changing mine! The best times for a conference call are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00am to 3:30pm or Friday from
10:00am to 2:30pm. If none of these are convenient, give me a call at ###-###-#### and we can set up another time. I can't tell you how excited I am about this opportunity! As a stay at home mom....what do you have to lose?

You have alot to gain!

E.,
I'm not sure if this will help but I was looking into becoming a travel agent a while back and came across Dugan's Travels (http://www.duganstravel.com/). They have a link (http://www.travelathome.com/) to look into doing business at home.
Hope this helps.
