I was just curious as to what work from home jobs are legit. I need to start looking into finding one to help supplement our income a little, and not sure what to trust.

I have a background in secretarial work, accounting, human resources and I'm computer savvy. Unfortunately I do not have a degree although I took almost a full two years in business management.

So what do other work from home moms suggest? How do you get into this? Where do I go?

What can I do next?

Be very careful re: any online 'work from home' ads - and about ANYTHING that asks you to send them $$ to get information re: stay at home jobs (even if it is 'just a little bit' of money.) I've read several articles about the numerous scams re: these ads.

I too would like to make some extra $$ but have no desire to got the home party route (candles, jewelery, make up, etc.). I'm thinking of looking into medical billing to see if that is something you can do at home (and at night!!). If you find anything please let us know! Good luck.

Working from home is WORK and it takes discipline. A lot of companies will require you to have some sort of child care because you can't carry on a real "job" and do the job you currently have as mom unless it is at night or something like that.

There are tons of MLM's and you'll be hit up with plenty of them which require an investment, selling, recruiting, parties etc. If that is your thing, go for it, Not all MLM's are legit.

I suggest a temp agency, telecommuting or something legit through a corporation.

Good luck

Like someone suggested, there are network marketing jobs out there, where you can set your own hours, etc. I recently got involved in the travel industry, which is by far the largest industry in the world at $8 Trillion, and it is going to double in the next 10 years. I just show people how to save money when traveling, and get paid to do it. I set my own hours, and love what I do. We will be taking more frequent vacations since we can save money, as well as taking free vacations because of how our company's compensation plan works.

If you'd like more info, just shoot me an e-mail, and don't worry, I won't pester you. I'm looking for people who are looking for me, so if it's not for you, that's fine. :-)

Hi D.---It all sort of depends on what your interests are. I work from home as a wellness educator. I encountered this opportunity when I found out about a whole food based supplement. It is sold through direct sales...but what I have is my own Virtual Franchise. I can work a little or I can work a lot. As you can imagine, the more I work, the more I share, the more income for my family.

The company I work with has been around for over 40 years, is debt free and is experiencing double digit growth, even in this economy. The biggest growth in business is in the health industry. This requires very little investment, only $50, to get started. I consider the people I work with family.

Let me know if you would like to know more. This is not for everyone, but if you love to help people and have a servant's heart, it could be. Have a great day! Be well, D.
