Looking for Someone Who Can Make Reasonable Custom Cakes in North Dallas Area.

In all honesty when you are talking custom cakes you are looking to spend significantly more than a cake you have made at a grocery store baker. $70 does not sound that bad to me actually. It takes a lot of time and effort for a cake like that. The only place I can recommend is maybe Stein's Bakery at Preston and 635. I'm not sure who you have tried but they are really good. They don't have licensing for characters so they can't do trademarked or registered character cakes but they do custom cakes and cookies.

My husband has been in the Bakery business for over 40 years and I can tell you that for what you are wanting it will probably be $70-$100. You might try Steins or Astons. If you are in the Denton area Candy Haven might work. There is also someone on Facebook called Eat My Cake.

There is a mom on this site that does custom cakes. She was asking about key word search terms the other day. . . . Scribble Cakes is her screen name on Mamapedia. She is in McKinney it looks like. You should DM her and see if she can do what you need:)
