Looking for Recommendations on House Movers.

Hi! We moved last year and used a moving company that was recommended by several friends. It's called Jerry Wood Movers. They are a family-run business who gets all of their business through word-of-mouth. They were very reasonably priced and the movers were absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough about how nice and accommodating they were. Their phone number is ###-###-####. Barbara Wood takes all the calls and does the estimates on how much it will cost. Her sons do the moving.

My recommendation would be "My Dad's Moving" in San Jose. They moved me about 6 years ago. Since then I've moved myself and also used another company local to me and was very disappointed (they ruined alot of stuff, and of course I paid cash)Rick with "My Dad.." was professional FAST and put everything back together and exactly where I wanted it. I had not one regret. I don't have the number on hand but I'm sure they are listed. Best wishes on your move!

just don't use ALLSAFE - NOTHING WAS SAFE WITH THEM, they broke our bed, scratched our crib and were very rude and misleading about their service...

We just moved and used Hansen's Moving and Storage. They were recommended to us by our real estate agent and were WONDERFUL. Did a great job, very accommodating, professional, and reasonable. I believe they are based in San Jose.

We moved close to 4 years ago and used Holguin Brothers. They were very nice. They may have cost a little bit more, but the crew was friendly, easy to communicate with and worked hard. We liked that they are family owned and didn't use contracters for the work.

Unlike some friends who had everything dumped into the garage, they had us label the boxes as to the rooms to deliver them to at the new house.

We were so impressed, that we treated them to lunch and beers afterwards!
