I too recommend Once Upon a Child. The one in Mesquite is pretty close to you.
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me of any good thrift stores. I'm looking to add a few extra winter clothes to the kids wardrobe. We recently came from California and winter clothing meant a sweatshirt and a pair of shorts. We are learning very quickly that it gets really COLD out here! :-) I live in Rockwall. Thanks, Christa

Hi. I also live in Rockwall. Helping Hands in Rockwall is a good thrift store. There is also at least one in Greenville called, My Sisters Closet, and at least 2 in Quinlan. One in Quinlan is also called My sisters closet. The others that I know of are all in "rough" parts of the Dallas area. I don't know the names of them. Oh, there is a Goodwill store in Mesquite off of Gus Thomason and Oates and a Salvation Army in Garland off of Jim Miller Rd and Garland Rd. Also, if you're needing clothes for kids, check out Once Upon a Child. There is one in Mesquite and one in Garland. You can find the definite locations on their website. If you sign up on their website, you usually will get an email for $5.00 off of a $25 purchase.
Kid to Kid and Once Upom a Child are both great!!!!!!!
there are several in the Casa View/Casa Linda area of east Dallas - Gus Thomasson and Ferguson. Garland Rd at Peavy (two one across the street from the other) and there is a Salvation Army Store on Gus Thomasson as well....

Hi,
You might want to check out Helping Hands (it's in Rockwall). Their website also has a 25% off coupon.
