Legging Type Pants for Girls

Hanna Anderson makes great leggings. Also Costco now has a Kirkland brand 2 pack of leggings that are fantastic and come in a ton of colors and designs. I have a hunch that the Kirkland brand might very well be Hanna Anderson. Costco carried 2 packs of the Hanna Anderson leggings for a couple years and just this year began offering their own. We have a ton of the Kirkland ones because my daughter loves to wear them under skirts when it gets cold at night and as the weather begins to get a little colder but she's not willing to give up her dresses.

I have seen them at Target as well but there are times they are not in stock as they transition through seasons.

Jeggings.
Old Navy and The Children's Place has/had them.
That is where I got it for my daughter.
It looks like jeans but is soft and stretchy and comfy. Not denim material.

Or just get, leggings.
Old Navy has many and in Capri lengths too.

She went through a phase, of like your daughter, not wanting to wear jeans or "pants" but liked, leggings.

Or, Gymboree, has knee length "bike shorts" for kids. That comes in many colors and prints. It is not denim but in "legging" type material. That is also where I got my daughter's. They also have many leggings that are cute and varying lengths.
Look online.

My slim, tall daughter has lived in Hanna Andersson leggings for much of her childhood. They are durable for a soft cotton knit and come in a wide range of good colors. At 12, she is now at the top of their size range, and I'm not sure what she's going to wear after this because she still hates jeans, especially low-rise ones (I don't mind her not being fond of those, but it does make finding clothes tricky).

Another poster mentioned Costco. By the time they started carrying leggings, my daughter was out of their size range, but yours should still be within the range they carry. I've heard good things about their leggings from a girlfriend with younger daughters.

When my daughter was younger, we had good luck with leggings/bike shorts from Gymboree. They tended to fit slim girls well, and last a reasonably long time.

Land's End makes quality leggings, too, but they are not a good shape for very slim girls. They are great for girls of more average or muscular build.

In our experience, neither Old Navy nor Children's Place does well in making bottoms for the very slim girl (which is a shame, because their prices are good).

Old Navy has the cutest leggings for girls. My daughter is also very skinny and about to turn 7. I always buy a size smaller than I normally would because Old Navy's sizes run big!

Target almost always has them!

I was going to say Gymboree until you said capri length.

For capri length leggings, Justice has been our go to for those.

I agree with the other posters that Children's Place, Target, and Old Navy cut them too ample for the skinny girls. If they fit lengthwise than the waist is way too large.

Lands' End girls yoga pants are in a soft knit. They're wider leg than leggings but still very soft. I like that it gives us a different option than leggings.

The Gap, Target, Old Navy all had tons of them for summer. You might be able to find a lot on clearance now.

I buy a lot of kids clothes from Kohls. They have their Jumping Beans brand and I often see this type of pants in that brand. Often they are in the clearance racks too.

Target has full length leggings on sale right now you can always cut and hem them.

I haven't gotten them yet, but I noticed on Kohls.com that they had a great selection. I'm actually going to go to the store to see the different feels of the pants.

Hannah Anderson, target and old navy. Though the old navy ones are usually super thin and only really good for hot days. My favorite are the Hannah Anderson's and our Costco usually carries them at certain seasons.
