I am marrid in June of 2008. I Love him alot, but for the few weeks he has been a pain in the butt. I dont know if I am feeling this way seeing one of my ex-boyfriends called are what.My ex was my first love my first everthing . I started dateing him when I was 15. by the time I was 17 I want it to see what was out there so we stop dateing and have be friends . Will 2 weeks ago he called me and told me that him and his girlfriend of 7 yrs broke up. I have all ways loved him but the time was never right when I was single he was not now that he is single I am not. I still have feeling for him . I dont know what to do . Do I see if there is still something there are do I just stay friends?
I dont want to go on with my life if there can be something there. I dont know what to do. I do love the guy I am with , but I still have the feelings for my ex. My man now knows I still talk to my ex and he knows we are friends .
Please help me , I just dont want to do the wrong thing .
Lust is fun. Love is hard work. You have a relatively short period in any relationship where it is the honeymoon period. Then you have to spend the rest of your life learning to really truly love your spouse. It may seem like there would be so much that you could be missing with an ex, but even if you get back together with your ex there is still going to be hard work learning to love him for the rest of your life.
If you have doubts, you might as well back out now. But recognize that you are taking a giant risk. Be sure about your decision.
Haven't you ever heard the saying,"Never leave the one you love for the one you like, because they will leave you for the one they love."? You are the only one who knows what to do.
