Seeking Ergo Experiences
My son is 14 months old and not walking in his own. He hangs on to furniture, etc. he sits with his left leg bent and to his side. Does Does this have something to do with the ergo? I wore him a lot to breastfeed and sleep.

My 6 month old will be starting daycare to my dismay next week. As I'm scrambling to think of everything I need to do in preparation, I feel like it isn't enough. I filled out the standard forms describing his feeding schedule, what he likes to play with, nap schedule, um, lack thereof. I know I need to bring diapers, clothes, food and bottles. From other moms who's babies started daycare at this age, what did you do to prepare and what did you write down for the daycare providers? Did you bring anything aside from the essentials that...

Hi Moms! I am seeking that perfect baby carrier for traveling abroad. For those Moms that own an Ergo, do you still use it for toddlers? Would it be comfortable to have a 30+ pound baby in it for day long trips? I am deciding if I should get an Ergo or go more substantial and get a Deuter Kid Comfort III. Any suggestions?

I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby and used several different slings and a baby bjorn with my first two. The slings were good for sitting and working on my computer (and breastfeeding) because my lap helped support the baby, but if I walked around with them in it very long it would hurt my shoulder/neck/back. I liked the baby bjorn a lot because it was more evenly balanced. This time around I was considering trying a moby wrap (or something similar), and I have also heard good things about the ergo baby. I will have a 3 and 4 1/2 year old when...

Hello mamas, I have a question for those of you out there who are doing parent-directed feeding and using the Ergo sling (or any other carrier). My baby daughter is 12 days old. In the Ergo, she doesn't seem to get good quality sleep OR active/alert time. I love the slings utility, though, and would like to use it at times So- is she just too young for a carrier? Should I wait until she stays awake more easily? Can a baby get a good quality nap in a carrier? Any thoughts on the best time of day to have her in the carrier at this...

Hello. I need advice. My son is almost 8 months old. He has no teeth yet. He has been snot nosed and just really unhappy to for past two weeks. Cranky is a nice way to put it, because its kind of horrible. He doesnt have a fever, but I took him to the doctor last week to make sure he doesnt have an ear infection. The doctor said his ears and throat look perfect. He even made sure he didnt have a hernia that could be causing him pain. He basically said he just thinks its a combination of a cold and teething. So basically, if Im not...
