Child Born in Feb. Should I Delay Starting Kindergarten?
My daughter turned 5 in Feb 2012. We homeschooled for preschool and was going to start Kindergarten this fall. However, I talked to a counselor who suggested that she would transition better and that she will have a better advantage if she went to preschool this fall and go to Kindergarten next year since she was born in Feb. Any thoughts on that? Did any of you wait till your child was 6 before starting kindergarten? *More details: She is academically ready. She knows her alphabets, simple math, writes her name and can read Bob books,etc....
