I have a 4yr old step daughter and a 3 yr old step son. My husband and their mother have never been together since their son was born and their mother is also with a long term partner. The kids spend the week with their mother and the weekend with us. The 4 yr old daughter is going to pre-k and we were hoping to start the son in the fall.
