Ok I've read a couple of requests on here for treatment for what you think is diaper rash, but in reality it is a yeast infection. My 18mo son was on two antibiotics for 10 days, because of pneumonia and a recurrent staph infection. This in turn caused Diarrhea which then caused bad diaper rash and now a yeast infection. Advice on Getting Rid of a Yeast Infections in Toddlers

My daughter (18 months) has had a yeast infection for over three weeks, and we've gone to the pediatrician three times. They have prescribed Nystatin and another yeast infection topical cream, but neither have worked. She also has a sensativity to zinc, so she can't use any creams that contain zinc, which most of the topical creams do. I've also tried giving her probiotics, washing the area with white venegar and water, and taking her to the beach without a diaper, but it still won't go away.
