Yellow Bleach Stain on Cloth

How do I remove a yellow bleach stain from aida needlepoint cloth? I got a couple of stains on my needlework. I put a small amount of bleach on the spots, rinsed it out. Now I have a yellow bleach stain on the cloth. How can I get this out without damaging the colored threads near it. I just need to treat the area of cloth that h as turned yellow.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I have soaked it in white vinegar for 15 min. and rinsed. It has taken several times but slowly comes out. I think it is out. I have it drying now and will see how it looks once it is dry.

Sunshine is an incredible natural 'bleach' - that whitens like nothing else can. I would hang it in the sun for several hours. Good luck!

EDITED: because I forgot to say that I'm guessing the cloth is white? I'm not familiar with aida needlepoint, so I was thinking that the white part turned yellow from bleach (which I've seen happen before).

oh man, bleach was a bad move!
next time try oxyclean, or color safe bleach.
the only way to get the color back would be to dye it.

sorry!

Unfortunately bleach strips the color, so there is nothing left to restore :(

Bleach damages the cloth... and yellow means there was too much bleach. There's no way to get the yellow "out" since it's now there permanently. As has been mentioned you would have to dye it. If you're able, I would probably remove the stitching that was damaged and redo it.

This happened to me with a shirt that was a silk blend. I personally have not found any way to restore the color. Sorry for the bad news, maybe someone can help me too!
