You may want to try www.AlpineAccess.com it would be more like a call center or receptionist position, phone work but they have benefits (I think) it has some requirements like testing and a voice audition but, it is a legit company.

Does anyone know of a reliable place to be able to work from home? After having the baby, I found out my work won't let me stay on as part time, so I'm wanting to find something from home. Billing or some kind of data entry would be optimal, but open-minded to anything else. Thanks for any help!

Are you interested in helping families? Are you available in the evenings for appointments?
Love to talk more about your options,

You may want to check into JetBlue. I know they have people work from home. They are the only ones that come to mind at this time. What about a part-time job with another company or are you adament about staying home? It's an idea...
I'll email you as I think of other ideas.

I just have to add to the JetBlue posts...JetBlue is great if you're single, older, and NO KIDS! The pay isn't great, hourly pays for your 2 phone lines..and might pay for your power bill. Which you'll still have to find a sitter on the hours you work because although they promote working from home they expect it to be quiet! I have to say I enjoyed working there for awhile, but when my dad was gravely ill and I needed the time off they wouldn't give it to me without me getting in trouble for missing days (as with any job) but they expect you to find somebody to work your shift. I struggled with being happy there because of the rules changing everyday and then being overridden the next. I quit and got to hold my dads hand when he passed away. I know many people that have worked and quit JetBlue because of 'rules' and the 'supervisors' there.
They promote free flights...however you're always working so you can't fly...but your family can.
They offer 24 hours a week so they don't have to give you insurance. Sorry to rain on your parade!
Here is 1 you can try ASC-inc.com there is also a local company that sells proactiv (as seen on tv) the name isn't coming to mind, but I've seen them in the employment guides that i've picked up from Wal-Mart and other stores.
Hope that helps.
Hi .. Go to the jetblue website as soon as you get this because they are hiring reservation crew that work from home. You can apply online and you must be quick to apply because usually they only promote the job opening for a couple of days.
Hello A.,
I was in your boat. My baby is now 18 months old, but she is also my fourth. I would go insane if I had to work away from home, yet I still need a supplementary income. What I do is not like some companies where you need to be available when they want you (like staying up all night), nor is it data entry (repititious and boring). You set your own hours and work your own schedule. I am part of a group of moms who work together to help each other succeed. My favorite part is that I do not feel alone with these moms, they know the kinds of things I am dealing with. www.perfectformom.com is my free website. Hope everything is going well for you.
