We use a French Press.
The best way to make coffee!
No acidity, smooth, easy, and no coffee filters to buy!

Oh, I love, love, love Lion coffee! Thanks S.H. for reminding me! I am going to try to order some. Thank goodness for the internet!
My other favorite coffee is Peace Coffee. I grind the beans at home and use them in my coffee maker or my french press. Yum!

We really enjoy the Costco Sumatra. It can be ground there.
Gevalia French Roast is also excellent.
If you purchase it out of a bin, make sure it is not dried out. The beans should look oily..

Ack, we get whole beans. Do you want to invest in a grinder? :)
Lavazza
Oh, yeah, Troy brings the Costco Sumatra to work! Again the grinder issue.

I drink Peete's Coffee, Major Dickason's blend. Not sure if you get Pete's there or not.
Several years ago at an old job the employees revolted over the crappy coffee they bought so they said we could find another coffee. So for two months we tried every local and non local coffee we could get our hands on and we found that the biggest factor was how fresh the coffee was. Starbucks did miserably, Peete's was our second fave, but ultimately we all loved a local coffee place in town. They delivered and offered employees a discount if we wanted to buy our own coffee for home. the Kenyan blend was the BEST!!!

Stewarts! It's a local (Chicago) brand and comes in a plaid can. SO good! Knocks the regular grocery store brands right off the shelf.

Community New Orleans blend. But be warned - not everyone loves chicory like I do.
Ravensbrew also has really good coffee, but you can only get it online and it's expensive.

I get either whole bean or ground from Dunkin' Donuts. Dark roast is best. Either that or I order Douwe Egberts online.

I like any coffee that is dark roasted & bold. We usually buy our coffee at Trader Joe's (we like Bold Joe's) or Whole Foods (365 brand is good)-- and if not, we look for a French roast, Italian roast, or Sumatra and we stay away from lighter coffees like Columbian or Costa Rican.

I love Caribou, but I get the whole beans and grind them myself. I can't really speak for the already ground coffee beans, but it smells good in the bag. (sorry, I have been called a coffee snob on more than one occasion:)
You might want to get a cheep coffee grinder and give whole beans a try!

Our favorite is a local company (local to us is the Pacific Northwest) and it is called DTE Blend (Down to Earth) from a company called Doma. You can order it online, it is organic and it is fabulous!
~We buy the beans whole and grind them ourselves but I believe you can buy it pre-ground.

My local place is awesome, and they ship everywhere. The Barrister's Blend is my favorite and the Mocha Java is great too.
I would spend the $15 to get an inexpensive grinder, so worth it.
