My sister is in desperate need of a triple stroller. She has 1 yr old twins and a 2 year old. She is trapped and can't go anywhere without an extra person to help! So, I want to surprise her with a triple stroller... used or new (below $500). I need suggestions on which one and where to find them. Any and all suggestions are welcome!!
I would keep an eye on Craigslist. I've seen them on there now and then. You can also post a wanted ad for one on there.
Also Walmart shows 2 of them one for $230 and the other for $380 and both have free shipping site to store.
i would go with the joovy sit n stand, two of the kids can ride in the "big" stroller seats and one(the older) can ride in the back. if you get a true triple stroller, it's prob gonna be far to cumbersome to steer and store in her vehicle. www.albeebaby.com usually has the best deals on baby gear and i'm posting a link to the one that i think is the best choice for her:

I'm a mom of twins myself, so I have a good idea how she feels....
There are quite a few mother's of multiples (MOM) groups in the area and most of them have yard sales to raise money for the club and for the MOMs. However, often times a member will have items to sell in between sales.
I would contact the local MOM groups and find out if someone has a used stroller to sell. Usually you can find them for half price or less and I know my group has rules about condition when you sell things at our sales, they need to be nice and not junky.
You can go here http://www.nomotc.org/ (National Organization of Mothers of Twins clubs) and click on "Find a Local Club" on the left side to get a list of all the clubs near you with contact information. The club I belong to will send out request like that to members and then members who can help will respond. Be sure to tell them the situation, many of the moms will understand and will pass the info on to any mom they think may have a stroller, too.
My twins are now 5 and will start Kindergarten this year. I still have their stroller. I need to clean it up and get it sold! LOL You just never know how long a family holds on to things like that.

I have just what you are looking for. I also had twins when my oldest was 18 months, then one after when the twins were 18 months...whew...........that's a lot of babies!!!!!
Anyway, I have a triple in-line jogging stroller that comes with a canopy, side shades and a storage basket on the back. It gave me a life!!! I know EXACTLY how your sister feels. I really want this stroller to go to mom in need as I was. It trully is a lifesaver. Email me at

You can try craigslist. Ive seen a couple triplet ones on there (I have twins and I have gotten a bunch of stuff off of craigslist). Ive seen some online at both Walmart and Target. Walmart has free ship to store and has a couple under $300.
