My mom has seen the toll the stress in my life is taking on me right now and wants to do a girls weekend away in September. She wants me to pick anywhere I want to go and she will cover it. Granted, I don't want to have to fly, and I don't want to drive too far because I'd rather spend more time there. I am off every other Friday, so I'd like to leave on Thursday night and get home Sunday afternoon, early enough to still do dinner with my guys. We live about an hours south of DC. I was thinking maybe NYC would be cool. Ocean City might work. Rehoboth Beach is nice...do you ladies have any good suggestions for places to go?
Try one of the inns in northern VA. There are wineries to try, restaurants that will knock your socks off, and views that are amazing. If you are interested in some really nice inns, send me a message off list.

girl ,you do not want to do NYC if you are already stressed.....that place still stresses me out and we used to live there:) I would say somewhere around the beach!!!!!!!

i love VA beach. williamsburg. just go to a lil historic town wherre you can relax, have coffee, enjoy the scenery

Love Bethany Beach, DE! Close to outlet shopping in rehoboth, ponies in Assateague, Lewes Ferry to Cape May for a morning, the beach (of course) and DeFebo's Italian restaurant in Bethany/Ocean View is AWESOME!
