Unique Dresses?

I'm shopping around for dresses for my daughter's 1 year birthday. I typically don't spend lots of money on clothes for her since she grows out of them so fast. However, for her birthday, I'm willing to splurge a bit. I'm looking for something super cute and unique! Also, I want her to be comfy in it (lots of scratchy lace/tulle is definitely not happening! Her birthday is in April and in Arizona, it's getting pretty warm at that time (80s-90s). Any ideas?

from time to time you can find one-off super cute items at Ross or TJMax. We found something from one the Dillards brands for $8 :)

Check out Janie and Jack. I think they look unique and the style appeals to me. I think it is pricey, but for that special day:) I had trouble loading it onto my phone but it worked fine when I clicked on a second link. Have fun shopping!

Didn't read your responses, so this might have been mentioned...

Go to etsy.com and search birthday dresses. Youll find lots of unique, one of a kind type dresses, and lots are personalized.

I saw a ton of really cute dresses on kohls.com... also check out etsy.com and craigslist.org for previously worn items in great condition or made by other Moms - which would definitely be unique!

Gymboree, but if you want to make sure no one will be wearing the same dress, go to nordstrom. You can also try nordstrom rack.

I hope you get some great ideas, but I wouldn't spend too much on her dress. Be sure you take lots of pictures before letting her eat anything.
My daughter looked like a doll and I let her have lunch and cake. She got it everywhere! Some of my favorite pictures!
It didn't come out of her dress though. It was kind of a one-time wear thing.
The dress was history, but she had a great time.

Best wishes!

naartjie.com They usually have a sale on Tuesday
Here's their outfit ideas. http://www.naartjiekids.com/category/baby-girl/outfit-ideas

Love naartjie they are comfy and cute. Hanna Andersson is also comfy but may not be fancy enough for you. Also check etsy.com for pettiskirts (they are not itchy at all. We own and sell them so we have first hand experience) they have people there who sell appliqued shirts. You can have the no 1 with her name across. I have person there that I buy from.
