Hi folks. I wonder if I'm the only one having this problem. For the past two weeks or so, when I post an answer on my computer here, instead of just posting in the list of answers like it usually does, the answer continues to show up above, as if I have tried to edit it. Indeed, I can edit just like that and click "save", and it will save in the body of the answers, but my post continues to sit at the top. It's not supposed to do that. What's causing it?
If this is indeed a new format, which a few of you are suggesting, that's a shame, because it's not helpful. It was already easy to edit before, like if you wanted to fix a typo or add to your answer after reading someone's SWH... What's the point?
That banner in the middle of people's original posts is SO annoying! Anyone know what that thing on the left of the screen is for? The bird, printer, email and plus sign? (I know that if you click on FB above the bird, it will probably take you to their FB site, but the rest is what I don't know about...)
Wish they'd fix this...
I've had this glitch for almost 3 weeks now.
While annoying? It's not as bad as the posts disappearing after you type them out.
I haven't seen it - yet - but I am getting frustrated by all the other glitches. (Now watch, it will probably happen when I post this...)
So many questions post twice (yours just did), and Mamapedia's brief vigilance in merging double-postings seems to have evaporated. A lot of answers post twice (answer, then the word "updated" and then the exact answer, all in the same box.
Two other glitches bother me a lot:
1) when the original poster can "answer" her own question, thereby putting expanded details and clarifications in the long line of other responders, instead of it showing up as an "edit" or a "So What Happened."
2) not being able to delete 43,000 flowers is annoying as hell. Who needs a full in-box of flowers from answers 5 years ago? I've also noticed recently that, when I check my flowers and I click on the word "contribution" see which answer someone appreciated, I get nothing! It used to take me right to that Q&A thread.
Not that it really matters, but I've stopped getting those "thanks for your help" emails when I report something. Small potatoes, just adding to the list in case the moderators take a look at things we say here.
Tuesday. When I type sn newer that I want to edit, nothing works as it should same as before. I was able to type sho anders withot doting with little difficulty. Once you the computer anger , words (changes). last ght I it n or sage ting difficulty with mamapedia network. WHERE IS MODERATOR?HAS SNYONE TALKED CTLY TH HER? (Ii did not type.caps on THE HOUSE NTEMCE AND THIS ONE. I wuit.with for now. He am a pediatrician gets..t fifured.out.
Monday . Where is the moderator? MICHAEL immediately responded. THERE s a new one. MAYBE it will take time for her to get up to speed. Seems that some of glitches have been fixed/improved. My answers still get higher case letters and dropped or changed words.

Sometimes my newer stays in this box and sometimes not. I don't mind because my answer is always posted along with the other answers. I do mind that staying or not is not consistent.
The glitches are even worse for me. I'm considering giving p sing mamapedia. WHEN I type a reply it's slow and jumpy. The above caps a none . Not mine. I tapped "not mine" and got "a none." THE pop up that fills the whole page ends my post. I get it back by tapping again on "answer this post." at least what I've typed is still there; just not visible. WHEN I try to edit sometimes the words are changed and jumbled for a whole new meaning. I've learned that there are any (I typed many which showed up as many and then changed to any) sometimes I can successfully go back and retype the word. Sometimes not. OFTEN I don't see the change till I proof read. THEN corrections are slow and nearly always result in gobble ook sentences.
This started when mamapedia added several new pob ups. I think my post jerks when the pop ups just below this box changes.
I tried to add Ad Blocker. Apparently it's not available for android. I'm going to get help from my son-in-law to find a way to block adds. I don't mind adds, usually but this is too much.
I don't have any trouble with other sites eithER it dds or when using Google or gmail.
The same thing is happening on my iPad. I have not tried other devices but it is irritating.
Yep. I believe it's been happening to everyone. It's a glitch in the system.
Ditto suz t. regarding the social media banner! It blocks part of the answers, and is very annoying to have to navigate around. If they can't put it on the other side (where it might block part of an ad, gasp!), I'm ready to suggest they move it to the top (and a little bit right of center).

Doris, the banner, from top to bottom, offers options to 1) share on Facebook, 2) share on Twitter, 3) print, 4) email to someone, and 5) all of the above, plus more social media options for sharing.
I especially agree with Diane B regarding the flowers! (But thank you to those who have sent them, nevertheless.)

And now my banner is in a different order, but I imagine you're smart enough to still figure out which are which, lol!
Mine does that as well. Not sure why that is.
I have always wondered why some people can answer their own questions. I thought maybe it was with newer accounts, but I think I've even seen it happen on older accounts occasionally. That should really be corrected because many of these people update and add new details, and if others don't see that, they provide answers based on incomplete information.
I really don't like the option of being able to "share" on social media. I get that this is a public forum, that anyone can see the posts, but I believe people should be able to come here, ask questions, answer questions, and have it stay within the MP world. I realize my thinking on this is totally out of sync with the rest of the social media culture, but that's how I feel.
Don't even get me started on the answers that disappear when you hit post.
I think it's a new format. Post your response just like you always have, but. now you have the option of easily editing or adding to your response each time you view the question!
I find it very annoying on my iPad, because it's just too easy to accidentally touch it with my finger and have to touch somewhere else so I can scroll down again :-)

I've had the same issue. The ads in the middle of everything is extremely annoying. I can't get them to close. It's about enough to keep me from coming back.
I have that, too. Where I can go back and edit without having to do anything more than scroll up and edit away. While I don't care, I do like consistency.
The constant banner ads are so annoying. And worse are the ads down the right side - it's all boobs and animals attacking and stuff I don't ever look up or at. So I'm not sure why it's there. Does everyone see these?

Is this still happening? All seems fine today! No "glitches" here! ;)
I click enter and then when I look below my answer is there. When it's showing up below I close out the tab. Works fine. I don't care for change either but it is so much easier to edit an answer.
