Hello - we have an abundance of toys and we need to donate them - we live in Oakland County, MI - any ideas???? Most are in amazing shape - people spend their money on these things when I tell them not to and the kids don't have enough time to play with them all...thanks!
Give them to salvation army the church or even see if childrens hospital needs them.
The Funky Frog in downtown Rochester (4th street) is a kids clothing and toys resale shop. Perhaps they could sell them for you and you could donate the cash to your favorite charity. They also donate all unsold stuff so they might be able to suggest who would appreciate your stash of toys the most.
check out the care house in mt. clemens. i think they take used toys. they are a place for battered women and children. or, if they are for little ones, try a church nearby, which may be able to use them in their nursery or preschool. St. John Lutheran is in Rochester. A church may be able to put you in touch with families that would appreciate the toys as well!
God's Helping Hands in Rochester gives things free to needy families. You will need to check their hours. They are more limited than say a Salvation Army since they rely on volunteers.
