I am looking at a leapfrog tag reading pen for my daughter that is 7 and in 1st grade. Would this be a good choice.???
also, i am looking for something to help with adding and subtracting for her that would make it fun........???

Is there any good idea's out there PLEASE Help

You can find lots of good workbooks and silly games good for counting at the dollar store.
Use fruit, like grapes, to do math with. Put 5 grapes on the table and tell her to take away 4... how many left? 5-4=1. And she can eat them while she learns.

we are using learning wrap-ups for adding, subtracting, and other math. They are fun to engage the kids in. The learning wrap-ups look like a key with a string that wraps around to each answer and there is a pattern on the back to see if they got it right. You can see them at ubah.com/T2449.

My kids love their tag reader. They are 5 and 2 and they both use it. The 2 year old does the pictures more, and my 5 year old goes through and does the pen on the words. It is a great quiet activity for them.

Those leapfrog reading pen was a great buy for our 5 year old. I highly recommend it.
