Go to Bed Bath and Beyond. There is a product called Wine Out. It's a small spray bottle. That stuff is magic!!! It got all the stain off my couch a few years back when red wine went flying! Good luck!!!
I confess! I had a case of the dropsies yesterday, exacerbated by my period! First I dropped my camera, and dislodged the lens, giving up a perfect photo opp of my daughter building a tower of Cheerios' boxes. Next I fumbled a glass of red wine all over the couch and floor. Then I had my fit and feel much better. The floor and couch, however, not so much.
I scrubbed, with an assist from hubby, with a wet towel/soap and most of the wine is gone, but I'm wondering if there is any product/home remedy you can recommend to finish off the job.
Sign me,
Whining over wine.

Cute post, but sorry about the camera and the floor and couch!
There's a product called "Wine Away" that is a red wine stain remover. It's for carpet and fabric. I can't remember where I got it, but you can google it and see if it's close by for you.
Hope you have success getting it out, and getting your camera fixed!

try Windex or Glass Plus -- worked for Big Red on mom's celery green wall-to-wall many years ago (but we also got that immediately)
I think Oxyclean is supposed to take it out, but I haven't had to test it yet (knock on wood!)
I know this sounds odd but I read a long time ago that white wine will get out red wine.
About 6 years ago, I was at a Christmas party where one friend accidentally spilled red wine all over my friend's new light beige rug. This was right after reading the article. I poured a little white wine over the spot and blotted it repeatedly. It worked! You could not tell there was any red wine spilled at all. Not sure if it will work as well next day..but if you have any white on hand, you can try it.
i've had good results with spot shot.
red wine, though.
hooo-eeeeee!

I"ve always heard to pour salt on it to absorb it. Was it RED wine?
Salt and seltzer is what I've always heard. And blotting, not rubbing.
I use Advanced shout gel in the blue bottle. Let it sit for a while, then rinse with water. That product has worked on my red wine stains and any other stain on my kids clothes.
There's a product available at Bed Bath and Beyond stores. I think it's called Wine away. May be at other stores too but for sure there.
