I have bad stretch marks from my pregnancy and I am currently using Strivectin. It's costly but it worked! I got it from the Sephora store. My dermatologist recommended it to me.

I got alot of strecth marks of my legs and the sides of my stomach. I would be so insecure during the summer time never wanting to wear shorts or swim suits. I spent so much money on pruducts to get rid of them and dermelastic serum is the only serum I have ever found that helps at all. In a month or twice my purple stretch marks were almost completely invisible. This serum was a life saver for me.

Actually a LOT of customers I used to have used Mary Kay 3-in-1 cleanser for normal skin and the Extra Emolient Night Cream+Satin Hands hand cream. Use the EENC and SH hand cream throughout the day and the cleanser when you shower!

Strivectin is the best! Spendy, but works.

I use a regular scar treatment like mederma. It seems to offer better results than stretch mark treatments.

You didn't say how long you have had them , mine faded with time. My son is 3.5 and mine are faded to my skin color maybe a little lighter, just a bit textured.

Avon just came out with a new stretch mark cream. Not sure how well it works just yet, but it may be worth a shot to look it up. Visit Avon.com.

Hi, L.!
Avon has a new stretch mark cream that they are advertising on t.v. You might think about trying that. Avon has a really good return policy, too. Even after you've tried it, if you don't like it, any product can be returned.
If you decide to go this route, you can search for a rep in your area at http://www.avon.com/. As a matter of fact, if you look at this website, the cream is right there on the home page.
Good luck to you!

Neosporin supposedly fades scars and if you get a tattoo (my daughter tells me) they tell you NOT to use it because it fades colors. (And sure enough, she found out the hard way.) I don't see why it wouldn't help with old scars as well, providing they weren't the long lumpy white ones.

The best and easiest way to get rid of ugly stretch marks is to use potato juice which contains vitamins and minerals
which help a lot in the growth and restoration of the skin.
Use a moisturizer.
Use glycolic acid.
Use essential oils.
Use cellulite creams. It is best for stretch marks.

Acutally, Mederma really does work well. It is designed to help fade scars. I used it on my marks and it did a great job. My sister in law and neighbor also used it on their C-section scar and it worked very well. You can get it at any drugstore or Walmart etc...

The color will fade with time. I've seen Mederma for scars and a similar product for stretch marks -- but I don't know how much stock I put in those. A stretch mark is simply skin that was stretched "too" tight and is super-super thin. I don't know of a cream that can fill it in... I hope some other moms give you responses based on good results they've had.

Good luck!

nothing over the counter really works well. there is a prescription retin-A that can help a little with pinkish ones, but you have to wait til you finish breastfeeding.
