Has anyone had any luck getting rid of stretch marks or even just making them lighter? I know that they are what they are but I have to ask! Are there any creams or treatments out there that actually work?

All through my pregnancy and after I used the Body Shop's Brazil Nut Body Butter. It's mostly cocoa butter and shea butter with brazil nut oil. I have no idea if it's what made the difference, but it feels great and I only have one teeny tiny faint stretch mark on the side of my stomach that I noticed about 2 months after having my son. I still like the Body Butter, even now that my son is 10 months old, so in that regard it is definitely not a waste of money (I think it's about $15 for a container unless you get it on sale - which they do 2x/year)

First I have to say I sell this product and is what I used after my son was a year old and it works. Super Shape Anti-Cellulite & Stretch Mark Cream from AVON. I noticed a huge reduction in my stretch marks when I was using this (almost gone) and intend on doing so again. Lately my stretch marks are starting to reappear but that could be do to loss of weight from stress. I am down to my natural size when I was in my early 20's right now. I got very fat while I was pregnant and loved every minute of it (almost) because I was having a miracle. If you want something that is guaranteed to work this product is and you can find a local rep by logging on the computer or asking friends and family for one they use and like. You can check my website for more info on the product and you should be able to search for a local rep through it as well. www.youravon.com/jjurgensen.com I work out of Hammond, IN. If you can not search for a local rep then just punch in www.youravon.com and that should give you the ability to search for a local rep. I don't guarantee the product by myself AVON does too. If it does not work the rep has to take it back for a future credit on a future purchase.

If you don't live close by me you can order off my site but then you get charged shipping so it is better for you to find a local rep.

Hi K.,

Try Avon Stretch Mark cream $12.50 a bottle but less when they have a sale and use 2X daily. After your shower in the morning and at night. Rub on your troubled spots While they don't go away I have been using the cream since I was pregnant and after and they are definitely more faded.

I have also used Palmers cocoa butter cream...Good to also use :D
Mary Kay firming Cream. Also very good.

Strivectin that sells for $100 a waste of your money....in my opinion.
You could also try Mustela however, that sells for about $30 and I don't think it does any better than Avon or Palmers. Palmers you can get at any Walmart or drugstore.

Best wishes Jennifer

I've used Strivectin and it helped a little (although it is very pricey!). I then tried Mary Kay Cellulite Treatment (a 2 step process) and it really helped. They are still there, but not as deep as they were!!! I was so excited! I am a MK consultant, so please contact me if you would like to try to Cellulite treatment... you can check it out on my website www.marykay.com/hqueen. Good luck!!

I got them pretty bad...even on my thighs. I didn't try anything but they have faded. The ones on my stomach and hips have faded more than the ones on my thighs. I hate them so much!! I am interested to hear what others say.

Hello! I did cocoa butter I don't like it because it takes such a long time to absorb into your skin.

I've heard vitamin e oil works really good, but you have to use it religiously.

I've never found anything that makes them go away. I guess prevention is best. I dont think any cream will actually prevent it, it all depends on the person's skin. I know of people that didnt put anything on and dont have a single stretch mark (yes, I hate them LOL) and i also know others that bought a whole pharmaceutical of creams and have even more stretch marks than I do. So i truly believe that it just depends on your skin.

Hi there! Someone had mentioned Strivectin - which i agree is VERY expensive. Walgreens carries a generic strivecting that I have heard some great things about. If it is not too expensive, it might be worth checking out. As an FYI, you can't use if you are breastfeeding or pregnant due to the chemicals.

Good luck!

Cocoa Butter on every day.

Strivectin also works (only a tiny smidge better than cocoa butter) but it's VERY expensive.

Unfortunately, once they are there they never really go away. Bad of womanhood/motherhood ... I guess. ;)

I used Vitamen E oil.. it is kinda thick and sticky but it reduced the look of them drastically the color is now skin toned..and they aren't as noticable .. plus you can get it at your local walmart..
good luck!
P.

P.S. There are no chemicals or anything that prevent you from using it while breastfeeding or pregnant..
