Well, after a lot of searching I have found no groups in my area, however, there have been a few other moms in the same dilemma so I would like to start my own group. If there are any ladies out there who would like to get together a few times per month for playtime, I have a wonderful one year old little boy itching for new buddies. Activities we enjoy are walks, museums, farmer's markets, parks, and just plain play time! Please contact me if you are interested- these get togethers would most likely be Thursday or Friday afternoons.

I am not sure if I responded to you yesterday about this. But I would highly recommend starting a chapter of MOMS Club (momsclub.org) for H-F areas (Glenwood could be included, Olympia Fields and so forth). Also, you could organize your playgroup through meetup.com

I'm in Glenwood and I have a 1yr old little guy, we would love to be a part of you group. But I work 40 hours a week and afternoons during the work week would not work for me. If you make plans for the weekends we will be there.
What is the age range? My baby is only 5weeks, but I definately want to be part of a playgroup. I live in Lansing. I am off for 6 more weeks but I work only four days and have every friday off once I return to work. Contact me if interested.
