I wear the yoga or lounge pants I bought, though they are not technically maternity. But I wear my t-shirts because they are longer vs wider and so comfortable.
....but you're not pregnant?
I still wear some of mine! I mean, what's the point in buying things you're only going to wear when pregnant? It's not like I'm always pregnant... I wear a lot of maternity shirts to bed, when cleaning, doing yard work, etc....
Who else still wears their old maternity clothes?

Yes I still do too! LOL! They are huge on me but I LOVE wearing them! They are comfy, I don't wear them out but like you said, at home doing chore's, yard work and so forth. Maternity clothes are too darn expensive so why not get good use out of them?
Nope, they have all been given to goodwill for a couple of reasons.
1. IMO it lets you get away with not getting back in shape
2. They look like maternity clothes
Not trying to offend anyone so sorry if you disagree.
Yes, I was one of the ones that is currently in a maternity shirt, and not pregnant. To my defense, it actually is meant for the earlier part of pregnancy and is pretty fitted, but can stretch.
I also have a pair of maternity jeans I wear when I need to run to the store real quick and all my other jeans are dirty.
Not no, but HECK no. Maternity clothes look like maternity clothes. I wouldn't even wear them at home because when I look frumpy, I feel frumpy.
I like wearing the t-shirts to bed. Why not, at least they're getting some more use.
Me.
I have 2 shirts I wear to bed during the winter.
And a few tops that I wear out. You'd never know they were maternity tops unless you saw the tag.
Just answered Molly's question with that exact answer. :) I have a few t-shirts I wear around the house to clean and lounge in. I just sold a big bag of winter ones.....wish I had kept the long-sleeved t-shirts. They were sooooo comfy and longer than regular shirts....and, well...I need that. :)
I gave all my maternity clothes to my SIL. But if I still had them, I am sure I'd be wearing some of them b/c they were so darn comfy!!
Sold in the earliest, quickest, nearest yard sale!!!
I have one tshirt that i love that i wear around the house.
Oh, heck NO ;-)
I wore them for the first three or four months after giving birth to my daughter and then gave them away. I was so sick of those (few) outfits by them time I gave birth...and I hope I never see them again! I gained 69lbs while pregnant and have lost it all, so there wouldn't be a way for me to fit into my maternity clothes even if I did want to.
Mine are all gone now, with the exception of these NOM long sleeve T-shirts that I purchased. They're fabulous! Form-fitting and longer. I wear low-waisted jeans almost every day, and these tees cover everything. I liked them so much, that I bought a couple after I had the baby because they fit so nicely and don't look maternity.
i never wore them. I am 6 foot so Emmy didnt drop until the day I had her pretty much. I wore my jeans all the way up to delivery and home too. I think it will be diferent should I ever have another baby
Sold and/or donated most of mine, but I do still have a couple of items that I wear..like my yoga pants. Can't tell they are maternity and they are very comfortable.
I have a pair of yoga pants that I wear all the time that were maternity pants, but you'd never know. There's no panel nor are they cut low to account for the belly. My hubby HATES them, but they are so comfy and great lounge around the house pants. I also sleep in a maternity t-shirt at night, but other than that, my maternity clothes are packed away in case we decide to have another baby.
R.:
I love to buy maternity tops!! They fit right around my boobs!!!
Nope on the pants though.
NO. I got rid of mine (donated) because I kept putting them on (baby #3 was 2 at that point) and they looked horrible! I just decided one day to take them all out so I would STOP wearing them. Best thing I ever did.
In general, no, I got out of them as soon as possible after baby was born. But, I do have a maternity Cubs t-shirt that I still wear around the house.
ok well I am only 1 month post baby but I still have to wear my maternity pants because the belly WONT GO AWAY... ( a new post of my own yay thanks.) my "skinny" pants just dont fit yet.
HELLS NO!! lol i had my baby 2 weeks ago and THANK GOODNESS i fit into my pre baby size:) i went and bout a few new pairs of pants and shirts to mark the occasion, and I'm giving my maternity clothing to my friend who just found out she's pregnant..
Oh God no, I felt like burning them, lol!!!
I tried not to wear too many big, stretchy things postpartum (after the first four to six weeks of course) because I felt they let me "forget" about the extra weight I was carrying. Even almost 13 years later I only have maybe two or three things with an elastic waistband (just trying to control any weight gain!)
I do wear old tee shirts and stuff when I'm doing house/yard work, but they are regular cut. And my "sweats" are all black, booty shaping lycra/spandex :)
Yes!
But moreover... i still BUY maternity clothes.
I'm 6'1 and DDDD's
Maternity shirts COVER MY NAVEL!!! Yay! And they have room for the girls.
$5 nips in the waist, and that's only if they aren't stretchy and nip in all on their own. Maternity shirts don't look like maternity shirts on me... they look like clothes that actually fit. Most are actually svelte. Maybe we just have good shops up here, or maybe it's my body shape. I get asked all the time where I get my tops by other tall women or busty women... because we're super super super hard to shop for.
It's a little awkward from time to time going into boutiques, but hey, they're CLOTHES. I don't care where I buy them, I care what they look like on me (sort of like petite women who find better clothes in the girl's department than the 'grownup' department ;)
I did for a little while when I was still losing the baby weight, but I was so happy to get rid of them! I found it depressing to still "fit" into maternity wear! I did have two tops that were not maternity that I wore during my last pregnancy, and they were gorgeous -I got so many compliments on them. I kept wearing them for about a year afterward, but thankfully last spring they finally got way too big and I had to ditch them!
i havent had the baby yet so im not quite there yet but i know alot of people who opted to not uy actual maternity clothes they just bought stretchy stuff or things in bigger sizes and many of them still wear alot of the things they bought
