I can sympathize, I lost over ten pounds in the first trimester with both my kids. There are several things you can try. Sea bands are bands that you wear on your wrists that have a button that pushes on a pressure point in your wrist that can help with the nausea. It helped with my first, but not with my second. Never letting your stomach get empty helps. Nuts, crackers, and salty things (for me potato chips, not the healthiest) really seemed to help a little. I was so sick of crackers by the time I gave birth I don't think I ate another one for 6 months. Also anything with ginger in it is supposed to help. I don't know if this works or not, since I couldn't tolerate the smell. My one saving grace was sour candy. The sell special preggie pops, but I found just buying a tin of sour candies worked just as well and was a lot less expensive. If it gets really bad, your doctor can give you a prescription which they did with my second, but I was too scared to take them since they tell you they won't cause any birth defects, but little is known if there are any long term effects (say when your kid is older) That freaked me out enough that I didn't end up taking them. I think knowing that I had them seemed to make me feel a little better. For me, I started feeling better at about 18 weeks. Good luck.
