I've tried sending a personal message for past several minutes. It won't send. The page quickly changes to the Questions Posted list. Has anyone had this happen? Also, for several days now, writing and posting an answer goes slowly. Words take several seconds to show up on the screen. This seems to happen only on this site. This started after Verizon installed an update a system update. I wonder if this a mamapedia glitch or my system's glitch.
If this is happening to others, I'll just continue trying to be patient unless one of you knows how to fix this.
I've found that missing letters, added letters, and words different than what I typed are caused by the spell checker on my android phone. Haven't figured out how to make the spell checker more accurate.sohappy, i'll try that. Seems possible Thx Diane B. Your description fits my difficulties with Verizon new installation. When my contract is up, I'll look for a less expensive provider.
I haven't had this problem with MP. However, sometimes the page scrolls to the bottom and I can't get back to what I was trying to read.
haven't had that happen, but site is super glitchy for me this morning.

I have noticed the site has been running a bit slow this week. How slow I am not sure as my machine has been a &%&%&)(!!
I think it is time for me to pass this machine onto one of my kids and start working with the new machine a bought a couple months ago....
Mine has been doing the same on and off for some time. I usually give up and try again later when it lets me type faster. Sometimes my curser ends up in some weird spot and I hit *something* and my whole 22 pages that I typed out disappears! I hate that! I keep thinking I'm going to copy it as I go but I don't bother. Which is bad because as you know by now I'm a rambler. Ugh. lol
MP has been slow for me lately. No problem sending p.m.'s though.
Mine has been very slow and I have started to type out my responses in Word and then paste them. I get frustrated when I have to retype an entire answer or when some of the letters don't show up after I typed them.
This has been happening to me for the longest time a I figure it is my laptop.
I am not sure how you do it on your system, but try clearing your cache. I have not had these type issues.
I dunno but I have that slow-typing problem a lot with Verizon. It helps to close out of your browser and re-open it. Sometimes. Other times Verizon screws up the upgrade. Get tough with them even if they tell you it's not their problem or you need another upgrade for just $29.99 a month. I fought them tooth and nail and wound up with a big refund.
Re Mamapedia glitches, I have found that I sometimes type an answer and it never shows up, and instead I get sent to a question page. I think (not positive) it often occurs when things are so slow (as you mention) and I don't hold the cursor perfectly still while the posting takes its sweet time.
I'm feeling your pain and fear I'm not able to help much! Grrrr….
I have not received any of your personal messages yet, so yes there must be a problem....I'll be waiting though....:)
It's just an occasional glitch. I am now in the habit of copying any answer I give so when it disappears when I click post I don't have to retype and rethink about my answer.
