I moved to the Huntersville area in Aug and still traveled to Matthews to my kid's Pediatrician...The distance is well over 2 hours by the time I am done and need to find another pediatrician in the Huntersville / Lake Norman area!! I love the Dr.'s at Arboretum peds, so I am praying to find another great pediatrician in this area...Anyone's referral would be appreciated.

I strongly recommend Dr Ficenec at South Lake Pediatrics. His information is below. They also have a great Lactation Consultant (Sandra Jarvis PNP). She's also great. I was a little discourage by one of the doctors there for discouraging me to breastfeed (I won't mention her name) but Dr Ficenec is really great. He's not pushy or condescending. He's understanding, patient, encouraged me with my decision to breastfeed, got help for me from the Laction Consultant and really takes the time to answer my many questions and since I'm a first time mom I have plenty of them. I have a 1 year old daughter and also live in Huntersville. We love our pediatrician, Dr. Barrocas at Huntersville Peds and Internal Medicine. We have seen other doctors at this clinic and like them as well.
We go to Southlake Peds in Huntersville, they are located at exit 25. We really like Dr. Brody.
Northlake Children's Associates has been absolutely the best pediatrician I've ever had for my kids and they are 12 and 4.
I took my boys to Southlake Pediatrics (near Target...in the plaza with Urgent Care). I liked them, they were just very large. We saw Dr. Burcal. I now go to Lakeside Family Practice and I LOVE my doctor, Doctor Stoffel. She's in Denver, so that would be about 10-15 minute drive from Huntersville. I just think she's the best. My DS had jaundice, and she was monitoring his case and had to go on vacation, she called me to check on him while she was on vacation. She is just simply the best!
Dr. Berger is also part of Lakeside Family Physicians and is located in Denver. He checked out my son at the hospital and I really liked him too.

We have been going to Southlake Peds just south of Sam Furr on Statesville Rd - ###-###-####. I have not had a problem with them, they are all nice, you get in the same day if needed and a pharmacy is connected to it. I have been very pleased. Drs are real nice to my kids too.
