Need a Pediatrician on the East Side

i take my 2 year old son to St John Pediatric Associates on 9 mile between harper and greater mack. my favorite is Dr. Joseph Blodgett. he is great. the other doctors there are good too. i think there is only one that i dont care for.

Not sure if this is too far for you, but Shelby Pediatrics is awesome. They are located at 22 mile rd and Hayes. Dr Ventimiglia and Dr. Patel are great.

I use Macomb Pediatrics on Hoover in Warren and used them even when we lived in Harper Woods. I haven't found a doctor there that I didn't like although I do have my favorites. I don't know if they accept your insurance you would have to call. ###-###-####

My husband and I love the Pediatric Clinic. They have two locations. One in Roseville and one in Chesterfield Twp. Our son is a preemie and when we where looking for a doctor before he came home we interviewed with Dr. Alexis Balomenos. There is 8 doctors in the practice. Unless it is an emergency then you usually can get the doctor you like. And you always will get in that day if your child is sick! I have two friends that go there and they love also. I'm not sure what kind of insurance they take but you can call and ask. Their number is ###-###-####.

I know what you mean about Metro Family Physicians. I couldn't stand it. Not that the Dr.s are bad just the office policies. You can't get through on the phone and the wait is ridiculous! Another poster, mentioned Willow Pediatrics. I've been very happy there. I switched from another Pediatrician when my now 5 year old was 15 months. Your rarely have a long wait and when you do there is a good reason. We see Dr. Catalan and like her a lot. Dr. Olson is great too. My Daughter likes her because she gave her a popsicle. It's funny what impresses kids.

I love my kids' group of doctors . The office is called Pediatric HealthCare address is 42141 Mound Road (at 18 1/2) Sterling Heights, MI 48314 ###-###-####. It is owned by Dr. Sharon McManus and Dr. Mark Deprez. If you decide to make an appointment, I would suggest Dr. Wegner or Dr. Hugen (both females) for your daughters. I like this practice because they are Beaumont doctors, who not only have their own office but are teaching doctors at Royal Oak Beaumont.So they are "current" on everything. I have never waited a long time there for anything. Well or sick visits. I do not know if they take tricare insurance though! Good luck.

It is so important to find a pediatrician you are comfortable with, so I hope my referral helps. My children (7 & 4) have been patients at Willow Pediatrics since birth. They are located at Gratiot and Metro Parkway. We see Dr. Olson whom I highly respect because she is very proactive. As soon as she senses a problem, she takes the necessary measures to get answers. She also listens to any concerns we have and acts immediately. She was responsible for our sin being diagnosed at only 13 days with bilateral sever to profound hearing loss, the youngest diagnosis through Children's Hospital at that point in 2004. This allowed us to get him hearing aids by 1 month old and immediately into the MISD for assistance!

Try Cornerstone on 9 Mile in St. Clair Shores. We love it. Dr. Crandall is exceptional!

We go to the Pediatric Clinic in New Baltimore. They also have a Roseville office. So far we have not had any doctors. They have 8 or so doctors in the practice. We saw Smika (sp?) in the hospital and Roger Abiragi since, and liked both. We've never waited more than 10 minutes, and that was even for a day-of sick appointment. I have been taking my girls (ages 4, 10 & 12) to Eastlake Peds (Dr. Melinda Karam) since they were born. Not sure about the Tricare. Their number is ###-###-####. They are Near 10 Mile & Kelley. I used to work at St. John Hosp. & many of the physicians take their children to that office.

I really like my sons pediatrician. My sister-in-law and I both take our kids to the same place but we see different doctors. I can reccomend Dr. Byrne and Dr. Fuller they are with Michigan adult and child medicine. They are specialists in internal medicine AND pediatrics. It was important to me for my son to have a pediatrician. I just think they are more aware of things. Anyway they are in Warren on Common between Hoover and Van Dyke.
