My husband loves an "old fashioned shave" and I thought it would make a great father's day gift. Does anyone know of a barber shop or salon that does this in the UCF area? Surprisingly, many barber shops do not do an "old fashioned shave" (the steam towel, hand razor, etc.) and I am having a hard time finding something close to home. Last time he had it done at the Gaylord Palms, which was wonderful, but a bit of a drive and a little pricey.

Broadway Joe's is off of Wekiva Springs Road in the Sweetwater Shops in Longwood, they charge $52 for this service.
My husband goes to a place in Waterford Lakes, it is called Carr's Barber Shop. He is a member there but I think you can also go in as a one time customer. They do old fashioned shaves. My husband absolutely loves it there. It is located on the side where Kohl's is in one of the stips in front of there. The number is ###-###-####.
The new Carr's Barber Shop in Waterford Lakes does them I think. (It's in the same shopping center as Home Depot.)
The other Carr's shop in the Baldwin Park area does them, so I would assume the new one does them too.

Apparantly they shave with a straight razor and is supposed to be a pretty cool place.
You should contact Carr's Barber Shop. There are several around town and they offer the traditional services.

there is an old fashioned babrber shop in baldwin park, around the corner from the main strip. I am sorry but i cant remember the name of it.
